soi bangkok

soi bangkok, eyes as soon that you walk inside arethose huge beautiful amazing squids made on charcoal, so now we're going to tasteone! as you can see our squid as arrived. look, look the size of it!

and look how perfectly burned in theoutside and still look very juicy in the inside...let's start to pick up one. oh! it's very soft it's incredibly soft. it's still very tender insideit's almost juicy and like a back taste of sweetness. now we're going to dip itin some of the sauce. i'm going to try first this darker sauce: it's like a lime and blackpepper sauce. it's perfect on the squid, it balance thissweetness feeling i mentioned before and now we're going to tryanother one, but this time with a red sauce. i guess this is more spicy probably... indeed, it's a much more spicy & garlicky sauce.it's made with vinegar,

and probably fish sauce as well. this squid is fantastic! inside so juicy and very soft, so it'samazing! and the second dish that will definitelycatch your eyes it is offal skewers what is this? tongue.ok, so 1 thong. and this one is, intestine? so we got intestine too. this is ear? pork ear.and this another tongue... and another ear...so 2 ear and 1 tongue?! all these are steamed right? yes. i will try starting with the ear... it have a kind of belly feeling, in the layeroutside in this part you have a little

bit of crunchinessbut then the inside is very soft it's almost remind you the fat of the bacon.since we are talking about food and we are talking with our tongue let's passto the tongue. they gave me this red sauce if you can see here it's a bitsimilar to a ketchup it's kind of a sweet tomato feeling. definitely more chewy. there is a lot of chewiness.. little bit of remind me the kidneysomehow. there is basically no taste at all. the feeling is just moreabout the texture i have the feeling somehow that theintestine is the one that i'm going to like more probably because they're goingto be able to be more tasty...and i will

try it without the sauce this time! exactly! this is basically tripe and it's best.it's very tender very soft you have a little chewiness but there is a strongerfeeling or offal, so this one is for offal lovers. morethan the other two. the other two play with the textures but this onedefinitely gonna taste offal! this is definitely an experience than it's worthtrying just remember: it's very hot and wearvery light clothes! we are done with the central market.

it's time now to go tothe next location! another place that you will definitely visit during your stayin phnom penh is the riverside, which is beautiful pedestrian walk along themekong river. and exactly here, in this very touristic location, there is a restaurant specialised in khmer food then we're gonna go and try one of themost famous dishes! this little cozy place is called khmersaravan. it's a little restaurant specialised in khmer food and here we cameto try one of the most popular speciality called amok. such a hot daytoday

finally a nice beer! so, finally here our khmer amok with seafood & fish. basically is a curry based dish, it isserved in a banana leaf as you can see. inside some lime leaf, roasted peanuts and white cabbage. can't wait to try! they server it with the usualsteamed white rice, i think it should be mixed. oh it's like a cream! i forget totell you then there is a lot of coconut milk as well, so i hope it gives atouch of sweetness. such big chunk of fish, this one looks like a calamari...so let's taste it! i will try it by this big chunk of fish to start and a lot ofcabbage because i want to fill this mix

of tastes! this is a very interesting mix. it's very nice it's a very lightcurry, at the same time it's a more creamy than liquid, the feeling of fishit's very light and at the same time you feel the coconut and it gives this kindof sweetness in the background. and now i want to take a lot of cabbage. the cabbage together with the curry it's a new experience for me. a very tasty curry experience.

and now, after this refreshing place we need to go to thethird location this place is another steam bath and it'scalled russian market, as you can see it's a labyrinth of everything and justin the art of it you're going to find a lot of food stalls. in the very heard of the market you'll find this food stall, specialised in khmerfood and here we're going to have another beautiful speciality called bay cha. finally here is our bay cha, this isthe last dish for today, a stir fried dish of rice, with some pork meat.

let's taste it... i have the feeling of soy sauce. the pork become completelycooked and dry, so it doesn't have a strong meaty taste at all what you feelmostly is like the additional sauces and a little bit the vegetables. nice. another food adventure it's over, remember to put a like and comments and you will findall the links down in the description. here two knew videos suggested just foryou, and next week yulia will upload a special food tour of russia. and remember:stay hungry, stay foodish!
