We had vii dissimilar dishes addition rice too drinks (only water/soft drinks, though they produce sell beers) - our mouth outset fourth dimension was 500 Baht, minute fourth dimension was 540 Baht too that was with an extra nipper (friend of our daughters came with us) - non bad for a household unit of measurement repast - too nosotros were pretty stuffed, the portions are a proficient size. This is "Gung Che Nam Pla" (กุ้งแชน้ำปล่า) - raw shrimp with fish sauce, garlic too chili - my married adult woman loves it.
I am a large fan of Thai salads - this i is Yam Tu Pu (ยำถั่วพู) - made with wingbeans, minced pork, onions, chili, lime too kokosnoot milk.. exact recipe tin vary. YUM! I usually consume this with rice.
For the kids - spaghetti. First fourth dimension they had a bolognese style, but minute fourth dimension was this version too it was demolished quickly, then I reckon the kids gave it the thumbs up! As an aside though - don't endure expecting superb pasta dishes at piddling Thai restaurants, this is Thailand, non Italy. Many restaurants produce spaghetti to cater to Westerners who are afraid of spicy food, but it's non oft great. Kids won't complain though!
And some snacks - inwards a higher house is Kanom Pang Na Moo (ขนมปังหน้าหมู), fried breadstuff with pork, served with some cucumber, onion too chili vinegar. I should direct maintain ordered a beer to become with that - it's definitely a beer snack!
More! This is Chicken fried inwards pandan leaves, Gai Hor Baitoey (ไก่ห่อใบเตย) - small, almost seize with teeth size pieces of chicken wrapped inwards pandan leaves too deep fried. Lovely... our kids similar them, i plate is non enough... darn kids consume to a greater extent than than nosotros produce sometimes! But seems that at the Yellow Door nosotros tin all materials ourselves for 500 Baht. We'll endure dorsum soon, really overnice piddling place.
Update August 2017. We however consume here! Still depression prices too tasty food, too it's a fairly regular house for us! There's forthwith some other interesting house adjacent door called The Camp too adjacent to that is We Cafe.
